Use TIA from your own tools
The checker on the home page is one way in. You can also send images to TIA over HTTP, or let an AI assistant call it through MCP. All three return the same report.
- HTTP APIPost an image, get a JSON report back. Works from curl, scripts, and CI jobs.
POST https://tia.dohunkim.xyz/api/audit - MCP serverAdd TIA to Claude Code or another MCP client, then ask it to check an image.
https://tia.dohunkim.xyz/api/mcp - Reading a reportWhat Pass, Fail, and Review mean, how to read the ratios, and what is in the downloaded JSON.
Which one should I use?
| You want to | Use |
|---|---|
| Check one image by hand | The checker |
| Check images from a script, a build step, or a CMS hook | The HTTP API |
| Ask an assistant to check images while you work | The MCP server |
The basics
- No sign-in and no API key. TIA is a free beta, so please keep request volume modest.
- Images can be PNG, JPEG, or WebP, up to about 4 MB when you upload them. The MCP server also takes an image URL, up to 12 MB.
- Choose WCAG level
AA(the usual target) orAAA(stricter). - The MCP tool is
check_image_contrast. It takes an image URL or base64 data and returns the same JSON as the API. - Results are an automated aid, not legal advice or a certification of conformance. Read where TIA can be wrong before you rely on one.
